About Yak Sports

 Yak Sports was incorporated in 1995. Our goal was simple. Build quality and affordable carts and accessories for kayaks and canoes.  

Our motivation may was simple and a bit selfish......  we didn't want to spend almost $200 on a kayak cart or $400 on a set of canoe stabilizers. 

Our standards are also as simple..... Do not sell anything to someone that we wouldn't use ourselves.   

Since our inception, we have designed, built and sold thousands of  our products in more than 13 countries.  Now with explosion of interest in the sport of kayak fishing and paddling in general, we have found ourselves smack in the middle of a growing industry.

We dont sell to box stores, We, like most of our dealers are small businesses who value quality products and building personal relationships with our customers.  Like many of you reading this, we got the paddle sports business because it was a passion.  

Our passion fuels our innovation and desire to create , produce and sell products that paddlers want, need and like.
